EduEngage AIU–RCS Empowers Rohingya Youth Through Educational Workshop in Sungai Petani

EduEngage AIU–RCS has successfully conducted another impactful workshop in collaboration with the Rohingya Community School (RCS), continuing its mission to uplift and empower marginalized youth through education and personal growth.

This meaningful initiative is part of AIU’s ongoing EduEngage programme, under the Centre of Community and Industry Engagement (CCIE), which focuses on building confidence, resilience, and lifelong learning habits among refugee and underprivileged communities.

🎓 Empowering Youth Through Learning and Self-Discovery

The workshop focused on three inspiring themes:

  1. Note-Taking Skills – Helping students develop effective strategies for learning and organizing information.
  2. The Power of Education and Resilience – Motivating youth to value education as a tool for change and self-empowerment.
  3. Discover Your Strengths – A self-awareness session guiding participants to identify their unique abilities and talents.

These engaging and motivational sessions were conducted by Madam Noor Jannah Afi, the Team Leader of EduEngage AIU–RCS, together with Miss Syuhada, who joined as a guest speaker. Their heartfelt messages inspired the students to pursue education with determination and confidence.


Recognizing Effort, Inspiring Perseverance

The programme concluded with an uplifting closing speech by Mr. Abu Bakar Ngah, the Director of the Centre of Community and Industry Engagement (CCIE), who praised the students for their enthusiasm, perseverance, and commitment to learning.

In recognition of their active participation, prizes were presented to students who demonstrated excellent note-taking skills and outstanding engagement throughout the sessions.
