Albukhary International University (AIU) proudly celebrates the achievement of three academic staff from the School of Business and Social Sciences (SBSS), who secured the Bronze Award at the NALI 2025 Innovation Competition and Exhibition, hosted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) on 7–8 October 2025.
With the theme “Accelerating Innovation in Teaching and Learning with AI,” this year’s event brought together educators, researchers, and innovators from across Malaysia to showcase cutting-edge advancements in digital pedagogy, artificial intelligence, and education technology.

💡 Empowering Inclusive Education through AI Innovation
The AIU team, led by Mr. Aiman Muqri Ahmad Shukri, alongside Ms. Farah Syazwani Hayrol Aziz and Ms. Nur Jazanadia Jamaludin, impressed the judges with their pioneering project titled “Empowering Students with Disabilities through AI-Enhanced Social Entrepreneurship.”
This innovative initiative integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into vocational and entrepreneurship training for students with disabilities, enabling them to gain practical skills, confidence, and business knowledge. The project emphasizes inclusive education, sustainability, and technological empowerment—key pillars of AIU’s educational philosophy.
The initiative reflects AIU’s 3ZERO vision:
- Zero Poverty – by creating income-generating opportunities,
- Zero Unemployment – through skill-based entrepreneurship, and
- Zero Net Carbon – via eco-friendly product creation.
Students participating in the program produced sustainable items such as handcrafted soaps and candles made from recycled materials, merging creativity with environmental responsibility.

🤖 Harnessing the Power of AI for Learning and Empowerment
By leveraging AI platforms such as ChatGPT and PowerPoint Copilot, the project enhanced accessibility, supported personalized learning, and improved communication between educators and learners.
These tools allowed students with diverse learning needs to develop creative marketing ideas, generate business content, and learn digital storytelling techniques—bridging the gap between technology and inclusivity in education.
This approach not only empowered students with disabilities but also served as a model for integrating AI into social impact education, demonstrating how digital tools can create real change in the classroom and beyond.
🎓 National Recognition for Educational Innovation
Organized by UTM’s Center for Advancement in Digital and Flexible Learning (CDex), NALI (New Academia Learning Innovation) is one of Malaysia’s most respected platforms for recognizing excellence in teaching, learning, and curriculum innovation.
