Albukhary International University (AIU), through the Albukhary Quranic and Islamic Studies Club (Alqisc), successfully organised the Sunnah Bootcamp & Explorace 2025, a four-day programme held from 17 to 20 October 2025. This initiative brought students together for an immersive journey of spiritual learning, self-reflection, and practical application of Sunnah values — all aimed at nurturing stronger Islamic identity and character.
Deepening Knowledge Through Sunnah Bootcamp Learning Sessions
The first three days of the programme featured intensive learning sessions led by Mr. Osaid Abdaljawad, Advisor of Alqisc. A total of 41 students participated in these spiritually enriching sessions, which focused on:
- Memorisation of essential Adhkar and Dua
- Understanding the meanings and significance behind daily Sunnah practices
- Strengthening spiritual discipline and mindfulness
- Applying Islamic etiquette and prophetic teachings in everyday life
Participants were guided step-by-step, allowing them to develop not only knowledge but also a deeper emotional and spiritual connection to the Sunnah.
“Explore & Apply”: A Dynamic Outdoor Faith-Based Adventure
The final day transformed the programme into an exciting, campus-wide Explorace competition, themed “Explore & Apply.”
Students were divided into teams and challenged to apply what they learned in dynamic, hands-on activities across multiple checkpoints around AIU. The Explorace tested:
- Knowledge of Fiqh and Seerah
- Teamwork and leadership skills
- Understanding and application of Sunnah-based values
- Quick thinking and strategic problem-solving
Activities included:
- Islamic quizzes and problem-solving
- Seerah chronology matching
- Creative acting challenges
- Map marking tasks
- Tayammum demonstrations
- Coordination and teamwork games
The atmosphere was filled with energy, cooperation, and healthy competition — all while reinforcing Islamic teachings through engaging real-world contexts.

The Sunnah Bootcamp & Explorace 2025 successfully blended knowledge, teamwork, spirituality, and fun, leaving students with:
