Albukhary International University (AIU) students actively contributed to fostering community ties and promoting wellness by participating as volunteers in the Malaysian Fit for Community Sports Engagement programme, organised by Kelab Belia Desa Bendang Perang.
1. Building Bridges Between University and Community
This initiative brought together AIU students and local villagers in a spirit of collaboration and friendship. Through shared participation in sports activities, the programme successfully fostered camaraderie, strengthened mutual understanding, and created a positive platform for cultural and social exchange.
2. Encouraging Healthy and Active Living
Students engaged in a variety of fun-filled games and physical challenges designed to encourage teamwork, strengthen bonds, and inspire healthier lifestyle choices. The event highlighted the importance of active living and the role of sports in developing discipline, cooperation, and resilience.

3. Support and Guidance from AIU Academics
The students were guided and accompanied by dedicated lecturers from the School of Business and Social Sciences (SBSS):
- Ms. Farah Syazwani Hayrol Aziz
- Ms. Nur Jazanadia Jamaludin
- Mr. Aiman Muqri Ahmad Shukri
Their presence offered encouragement, mentorship, and support, ensuring that students maximised their learning experience while giving back to society.

4. Commitment to Community Development
The participation of AIU students reflects the university’s ongoing dedication to social responsibility, community engagement, and holistic student development. Through such programmes, AIU reinforces its mission of producing well-rounded graduates who not only excel academically but also make meaningful contributions to society.

5. A Glimpse Into AIU’s Spirit of Service
By actively engaging in community-based programmes like this, AIU students demonstrate that education extends beyond classrooms—embracing values of empathy, service, and shared growth.
