Albukhary International University (AIU) proudly represented Malaysia’s higher education community at the ASEAN Higher Education Institutions Tilawah and Quran Memorisation Competition 2025/2026, held from 24 to 26 October 2025 at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Terengganu.
This prestigious regional event brought together talented students from 53 ASEAN higher education institutions, uniting young voices in a shared celebration of faith, discipline, and devotion to the Quran.
🌟 AIU’s Proud Representatives
AIU’s delegation was represented by two outstanding students from the School of Business and Social Sciences (SBSS):
- Nur Ain Syadiah binti Ahmed Mashoor, Bachelor of Business Administration (Human Resource Management)
- Fanji Maulana Arrifkani, Bachelor of Politics and International Relations (BPIR)
Both participants demonstrated exceptional skill and spiritual sincerity in their performances, earning recognition by placing within the Top 20 among dozens of accomplished reciters and memorisers from the ASEAN region.

Although they did not advance to the final round, the experience was deeply enriching — offering both students valuable exposure, intercultural connection, and personal growth in their Quranic journey.
