AMSA Celebrates Volunteers at HOPE Project Certificate Giving Ceremony and Appreciation Dinner

The AIU Myanmar Students’ Association (AMSA) proudly hosted the HOPE Project Certificate Giving Ceremony and Volunteers Appreciation Dinner at the Student Centre, Albukhary International University (AIU), in recognition of the remarkable dedication and contributions of student volunteers throughout the year.

The event served as a heartfelt celebration of compassion, teamwork, and community service — values that define the spirit of AMSA and align closely with AIU’s mission of nurturing socially responsible global citizens.


đź’¬ Words of Appreciation from AIU Lecturers

The evening commenced with inspiring opening remarks by Dr. Muath Khalil Amayreh and Madam Farah Miranda Valery Ellis Crooke, who commended the volunteers for their commitment, perseverance, and compassion in serving communities beyond the campus.

They both emphasized the transformative power of volunteerism and encouraged students to continue contributing meaningfully to society — reflecting the university’s motto, “Inspiring Minds, Transforming Lives.”

“Through initiatives like Project HOPE, our students are not only learning about service — they are living it. You have shown that leadership begins with empathy and action,” said Madam Farah Miranda.


🌱 Reflecting on Project HOPE’s Journey

Project Leader, Nyan Phone Zaw @ Faiz, shared heartfelt reflections on the project’s journey, from its humble beginnings to its growing impact on local communities. He expressed gratitude to the volunteers, coordinators, and AMSA members whose efforts have sustained the project’s success over the years.

“HOPE started as a small act of kindness. Today, it stands as a testament to what unity and compassion can achieve. Every volunteer has been a pillar of strength in this mission,” said Faiz during his closing remarks.

The highlight of the evening was the presentation of certificates to outstanding volunteers, acknowledging their selfless service and contribution to Project HOPE’s continued success.

The event concluded with a dinner reception, where AMSA members, coordinators, and volunteers shared moments of joy, reflection, and gratitude — strengthening their bond as a family united by service.
