The Albukhary International University (AIU) Library continues to make strides in academic excellence and digital innovation, proudly representing the university at the prestigious International Digital Library Conference (InDeLib) 2025, hosted at Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in Sintok, Kedah.
Held under the inspiring theme “Enabling Knowledge-Driven Communities through Intelligent Technology,” the conference served as a dynamic platform for librarians, researchers, and academics to exchange insights on the evolving role of technology in modern knowledge ecosystems. Co-organized by the libraries of UUM and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), the event brought together 114 participating groups from across Malaysia and Thailand, reflecting the region’s growing commitment to digital transformation in libraries and information management.

AIU Library’s Active Role and Recognition
AIU Library’s participation at InDeLib 2025 was multifaceted, demonstrating both leadership and innovation. Representing AIU in a judging capacity were Ms. Syuhada Ali (Chief Librarian), Mdm. Nurul Izzati Sabri, and Mr. Mohd Dzairil Che Darus — a testament to the confidence placed in AIU’s professional expertise and thought leadership within the field of librarianship.
Their role as judges underscored AIU Library’s long-standing reputation for excellence in academic support, research facilitation, and community-centered knowledge sharing.
Silver Recognition for “Acknoly.me” Project
In addition to its evaluative role, AIU Library also stood out as a recognized innovator. Ms. Rabiatul Adawiyah Zulkifli and Mdm. Ernadia Wahida Cluny, in collaboration with three lecturers from UiTM Kedah Branch, represented AIU in the competition segment of the conference. Their project, titled “Acknoly.me: Streamlined Submission and Acknowledgment System for Library Innovation,” earned the Silver Recognition Award in the Professional Category.
This innovative project aims to enhance administrative efficiency and promote user-friendly acknowledgment systems within library operations, reflecting AIU’s dedication to continuous improvement and digital excellence. The recognition serves as a testament to the project’s creativity, impact, and practical value within academic library environments.
