Albukhary International University (AIU) proudly congratulates Mr. Abdul Wafi bin Samsulrijal, Lecturer at the School of Business and Social Sciences (SBSS), on receiving the Certificate of Authorisation to Teach (Islamic Studies) from the State of Perak.
The conferment took place during the Muqabalah Mahabbah and Conferment Ceremony of Teaching Authorisation (Agama Islam) 2025 (Series 2), held on 29 September 2025 at Dewan Al-Ghazali, Kompleks Islam Darul Ridzuan. The ceremony was graced and officiated by Sahibus Samahah Dato’ Seri Haji Wan Zahidi bin Wan Teh, Mufti of Perak Darul Ridzuan.

Mr. Abdul Wafi joins a distinguished group of 65 esteemed scholars, both local and international, who were acknowledged for their contributions to Islamic education and da’wah.
Among the distinguished recipients were:
- Sahibus Samahah Dato’ Mufti of Pahang, Asemadi
- Dato’ Ashraff Hashim, Chairman of the Shariah Advisory Council of Bank Negara Malaysia
