Albukhary International University (AIU) has proudly achieved a significant academic milestone by completing its fourth and final Full Accreditation (FA) Audit Visit for 2025. This evaluation, conducted by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), marks a crucial step in AIU’s ongoing efforts to uphold world-class quality standards in higher education.
🎓 Accreditation for Bachelor of Finance (Islamic Finance) (Honours)
The two-day audit, held on 22–23 September 2025, evaluated the Bachelor of Finance (Islamic Finance) (Honours) (MQA/FA13898) programme. The accreditation process serves as a guarantee to students, parents, and stakeholders that AIU’s academic offerings meet national benchmarks and international best practices.

The evaluation was carried out by an MQA-appointed panel of distinguished experts:
- Associate Professor Dr. ’Ismah Osman (UiTM)
- Associate Professor Dr. Haji Mohd Farihal bin Osman (Universiti Utara Malaysia)
- Madam Noor Hazirah binti Mohamed Yunus (MQA)
Their expertise ensured a comprehensive and professional review of the programme’s delivery, curriculum, and quality systems.
🏫 Audit Process and Campus Tour
The accreditation audit included:
- Structured interviews with the Head of Programme, Mr. Mohamad Mokhlis Ahmad Fuad, academic staff, current students, and the Student Representative Council (SRC).
- An extensive campus tour, where assessors examined AIU’s pedagogical facilities such as:
- Computer laboratories
- Instructional spaces
- Secure storage facilities
- University library
This provided the assessors with a first-hand view of AIU’s infrastructure and learning environment.
📋 Constructive Feedback and Next Steps
During the audit, the panel shared constructive feedback highlighting areas for future improvement while expressing overall satisfaction with the programme’s quality and delivery standards.
The official outcome of the audit will be announced following deliberations at the Majlis Jawatankuasa Akreditasi (MJA) meeting in October 2025.
