The Student Representative Council (SRC) of Albukhary International University (AIU) recently paid an official visit to AIMST University, following a kind invitation extended by AIMST. The visit aimed to strengthen institutional ties, promote student leadership collaboration, and foster intercultural engagement between both universities.
🏛️ Meeting with AIMST University Leadership
During the visit, the AIU SRC had the honour of meeting Prof. Dr. Kiran Reddy, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of AIMST University. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Mohamed Amin bin Mohamed Ibrahim, President of the AIMST Global Family Club (AGF), along with his team members, and representatives from AIMST’s Student Affairs Department — Mr. Shashini Kanth A/L Sandarajah and Mr. Thirumalai A/L Peromal.
The AIU delegation included SRC members: the President, Vice-President I, Vice-President II, Secretary, Treasurer, Exco of Public Relations, Exco of Students’ Welfare, and Exco of Media.

Following the meeting, a Meet & Greet session was held between the AIU SRC and members of the AIMST Global Family Club (AGF). The interactive session provided an opportunity to exchange ideas on student engagement, community activities, and leadership initiatives, fostering friendship, collaboration, and mutual understanding among international student leaders from both institutions.

The visit concluded with a guided campus tour led by AGF members, where the AIU delegates explored several of AIMST’s key academic faculties and facilities, including the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, and Faculty of Dentistry. The tour provided valuable insights into AIMST’s educational environment and student activities.
