Albukhary International University (AIU), through its Centre for Quality Assurance and Accreditation (CQAA), successfully hosted the EOMS 21001:2018 Town Hall Session on 3 November 2025 at the University Auditorium. The initiative was designed to strengthen staff comprehension of the Educational Organisation Management System (EOMS) aligned with ISO 21001:2018 standards, ensuring that AIU continues to uphold excellence in its academic and administrative ecosystem.
Strengthening Awareness Across the University
The session began with an inspiring address by the Vice Chancellor, who emphasized the significance of adopting a structured and effective management system. He highlighted that a clear and well-functioning EOMS allows every part of the university to operate with efficiency, alignment, and shared purpose.
“A strong system enables smooth operations, clearer coordination, and improved outcomes across all departments,” he noted. He further stressed that ISO 21001:2018 fosters accountability and ensures that every unit contributes meaningfully toward AIU’s mission and long-term objectives.

Comprehensive Presentation by CQAA
Following the Vice Chancellor’s address, the Director of CQAA delivered an in-depth presentation covering critical components of the EOMS implementation process. The briefing included:
- EOMS process timeline and expected milestones
- Key highlights from recent internal and external audit reports
- EOMS KPI dashboard for tracking performance indicators
- SWOT and Risk Analysis for strategic planning and mitigation
- Documentation categories and requirements for compliance
- The EOMS Policy Statement, outlining AIU’s guiding principles and quality commitments
The session provided staff with a holistic understanding of the university’s quality management framework and their role within the ISO 21001:2018 structure.

As part of the dissemination effort, the EOMS Policy Statement was shared with all attendees, reaffirming top management’s commitment to sustaining and continually improving the Educational Organisation Management System across the university. The statement underscores AIU’s dedication to delivering consistent and high-quality educational services that meet stakeholder needs.
The Director of CQAA expressed appreciation for the proactive participation of faculty and staff, noting that the collective effort is crucial as AIU prepares for the upcoming ISO 21001:2018 Stage 2 Audit.
